[li]In Soaeniin, wild Pok?mon encounters are common--mostly in routes, caverns, and so forth. The only ones who can make a wild Pok?mon appear in a town is an admin or a gmod. Regular mods should not have this happen.
[/li][li]NPC trainers located along routes may meet you and demand a battle at any given time when you are on a route. They won't interrupt you trying to catch a wild Pok?mon or something like that, don't worry.
[/li][li]Each Pok?mon in Soaeniin may know up to six (6) moves. Magic, yes, we know~
[/li][li]When battling, your Pok?mon are each allowed to use one move per turn. Unless you're doing a combination of a non-attack move with an actual move. Or, if you're using an item or switching out a Pok?mon, you can do either of those as well as use an attack.
___[example: Pok?mon A uses 'leer', and then charges at the Pok?mon in a 'take down' attack. // or // Pok?mon A uses 'take down'.]
--Pok?mon cannot use the non-attack move after they've already done an attack; it must be cast before the attack.
___[ITEMS example: Trainer A uses 'Potion' on Pok?mon A. Pok?mon A uses 'take down' on Pok?mon B. // or // Trainer B switches out Pok?mon B for Pok?mon C. Pok?mon C 'Growl's as it shifts the waters, creating a 'Whirlpool'.]
[/li][li]Pok?mon gain a certain amount of levels; it varies between wild encounters, NPC encounters, trainer (other character) encounters, gym battles, elite four battles, legendary battles, and plot battles. So let's talk some about leveling, now.
Leveling
[/li][li]Whenever a Pok?mon wins a fight, they get a certain number of levels. If a Pok?mon looses a fight, they are awarded somewhat, but not as much. For their effort. Let's break it down some~
[/li][li]If the Pok?mon is higher level than you, you take the number of levels it is higher and multiply it by two. That is the total number of levels to be distributed amongst any Pok?mon whom participated--if you win. If you loose, you gain the total difference without multiplying it.
[/li][li]If the Pok?mon is a lower level than you, we use this chart:
Wild Pok?mon | NPC trainer | Character | Gym Battles | Elite Four | Legendary Battles | |
You Win | 1 per Pok?mon that participated | 2 per Pok?mon that participated | 3 per non-fainted Pok?mon | 5 per Pok?mon that participated | 5 per Pok?mon that participated, +2 per every Pok?mon still conscious that didn't have a 'revive' used on it in battle | 3 per Pok?mon that participated, +1 per every Pok?mon still conscious |
You Loose | 1 per Pok?mon that participated | 1 per Pok?mon that participated | 2 per Pok?mon that participated | 3 per Pok?mon that participated | 4 per Pok?mon that participated | 3 per Pok?mon that participated |
[/li][li]If the Pok?mon is more than ten levels lower than yours, you will gain no levels.
---more may be added at any given time~
