Professor Hawthorn's younger sister, this young lady, only twenty-two years old, is very knowledge in the field of Pokémon. Having learned a lot as a clingy child from her older brother, she often wanted to sort of follow in his footsteps.

After the professor opened his laboratory, she hung around often. She noticed how some trainers muttered, 'I want something different, something new... Oh well...' or something along those lines. And she decided how she'd do it.

About a year after Liam opened his laboratory, Mira opened The Hatchery--a building just slightly to the side of road leading to her brother's lab. Collecting many, many eggs and asking for donations of Pokémon eggs from all around the region, many people have sent her in Pokémon eggs. She spends a lot of time going around and searching for eggs or breeding wild Pokémon she catches in the Pokémon center for her Hatchery. Almost any Pokémon could hatch from these eggs, at this point, she has collected such a diverse amount of eggs.

Being that Pokémon hatch at level one, each incubator with a Pokémon inside has a small drawer which holds four rare candy-like items to feed to the Pokémon. They are odd in that, instead of the typical blue, they are red; these are called Premium Candies and, unlike rare candies which simply boost level, will empower a Pokémon about as much as hand-leveling would. Mia is one of only a select handful of people in the world that can acquire these rare candies.
